The Shape Shifter's Lighting Staff is a crucial Ascension material for Kafka (and Jing Yuan), and you will require them to ascend beyond Level 40. In total to take Kafka from Level 40 to 80, the current max level, you will require 65 Shape Shifter's Lightning Staff.
Shape Shifter's Lightning Staff Ascension Material can be gathered in two ways.
- Defeating the Shape of Doom Stagnant Shadow in Stargazer Navalia, Xianzhou Luofu
- Omni-Synthesizer - Material exchange

Conqueror's Will location
Conqueror's Will is a 4-star Character Ascension and Trace Material for Kafka, meaning you'll be farming it a lot if you're hoping to max her out at Level 80.
There are two primary ways to gain Conqueror's Will in Honkai Star Rail:
- Simulated Universe - Baryon, Antibaryon or Stormbringer all can drop Conqueror's Will
- Omni-Synthesizer - Material Exchange
The Simulated Universe is arguably the easiest method to gain these Kafka Ascension Materials as you can continuously re-do it. However, if you have materials to spare you can also use the Omni-Synthesizer.
