Honkai Star Rail’s next banner: 2.3 Characters and Light Cones

Details of the next banners in Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 are now here! It will feature new characters Firefly and Jade, rerun some old ones, and launch new Light Cones. Check out all the details of the Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 banner here.

This phase began as soon as maintenance finished on June 19, 2024. It is now live.

Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Phase 1 banners will feature the new character Firefly in the "Firefull Flyshine" banner. Alongside her will be a rerun of "Floral Triptych" featuring Ruan Mei.

Firefly is a 5-star Fire Destruction character who uses her SAM armor to decimate enemies as a Stellaron Hunter. Meanwhile, Ruan Mei is a supportive 5-star Ice Harmony character whose kit revolves around Weakness Break and extending the Break on enemies.

The Light Cone Event Warps in Phase 1 features Firefly's and Ruan Mei's Signature Light Cones separately.

Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest is Firefly's Signature Light Cone and is new to this patch.

Skill (at R0): Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 60%. When the wearer deals Break DMG to an enemy target, inflicts Routed on the enemy, lasting for 2 turn(s). Targets afflicted with Routed receive 24% increased Break DMG from the wearer, and their SPD is lowered by 20%.

Past Self in Mirror is Ruan Mei's Signature Light Cone.

Skill (at R0): Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 60%. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases all allies' DMG by 24%, lasting for 3 turns. Should the wearer's Break Effect exceed or equal 150%, 1 Skill Point will be recovered.

At the start of each wave, all allies regenerate 10 Energy immediately. Effects of the same type cannot stack.

This phase will begin on July 10, 2024.

The Phase 2 banners will introduce another new character: Jade. Jade is a 5-star Quantum Erudition character who can buff herself or her allies... for a price.

There will also be a rerun of Argenti, a 5-star Physical Erudition Character. His gimmick is being able to overcharge his Burst bar to 200% to deal a lot of damage in one go.

The 4-stars in this banner are less than ideal since you can get all of them for free upon progressing in the game. So, unless you're prepared to get a lot of Eidolons on them, it might be best to hold off on this banner. Sorry, Jade.

Yet Hope is Priceless Jade's Signature Light Cone and is new to this update.

Skill (at R0): Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 16%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 20% CRIT DMG that exceeds 120%, the DMG of the wearer's follow-up attack is increased by 12%. This effect can stack up to 4 time(s). When the battle starts or after the wearer uses their Basic ATK, enables the Ultimate and the follow-up attack to ignore 20% of the target's DEF, lasting for 2 turn(s).

An Instant Before A Gaze is Argenti's Light Cone and will have a rerun on Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Phase 2.

Skill (at R0): Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 36%. When the wearer uses Ultimate, increases the wearer's Ultimate DMG based on their Max Energy. Each point of Energy increases the Ultimate DMG by 0.36%, up to 180 points of Energy.
