All Highguard maps

Wildlight Entertainment's Highguard title is now live. At launch, the game lets players duke it out in five different maps. Here's a closer look at them before you enter a match.

The available Highguard maps at launch are Dustline, Kingdom, Rivermark, Summit, and Vesper City. These differ from Highguard's bases, which include Bellringer, Frosthold, Hellmouth, King's Lair, Smuggler's Den, and Wellspring.

In Highguard, Dustline is a ruined settlement in a disaster zone. The zone stretches for hundreds of miles into a barren wasteland. The cause of Dustline's ruin is unknown, but early signs suggest that it happened suddenly and unnaturally.

As for the Kingdom map, it's located across the narrow strait from Headwall as a ruined coastal city. Kings once built castles and towers here. This map features signs of an ancient battle that happened centuries ago. Now, it's a place full of relics and treasures.

Next, Rivermark gives players a glimpse into the ancestral civilization that existed before Highguard's disappearance. Old magic and industrial technologies created engineering marvels in the past there. These structures are now lost, but the colossal Barrier Wall remains as an impressive structure on the peninsula. Wardens go here to recover lost knowledge for clients in Halcyon.

The Summit map, meanwhile, is located high in the northern mountains as the last remnant of a kingdom. A queen once ruled here over a golem army. This area also holds a lot of resources, which makes it a point of interest for characters in the Highguard universe.

Finally, Highguard's Vesper City map was once the crown jewel of an ancient empire. Its sandstone halls were carved over 2,000 years ago. This canyon city once served as a trade center, treasury, and arcane archive for The Iron Vigil as well. Now, it's partially excavated and a major conflict zone.
