The community has done it again! The joint effort cracked the Hearthstone Alterac Valley Puzzle that came with Onyxia’s Mini-Set
Hearthstone’s latest Puzzle, introduced in Onyxia’s Lair patch, has been solved! The community cracked the mystery of how to get the Shimmering Snowflake card back. These Onyxia Puzzles from Alterac Valley's expansion seem to be the hardest of the 3 mysteries Hearthstone has released so far. But don’t feel discouraged, here you will find the step-by-step guide to solve it!
How to enter Hearthstone Aterac Valley - Onyxia’s Lair Puzzle
One of the most difficult steps when solving a mystery is where to start. With little clues, the community had to search for the entrance to the puzzles. Hearthstone detectives gathered in the WoW Secret Finding Discord server eager to crack the Puzzle introduced with Onyxia’s Mini-Set. And then, Celestalon, Hearthstone Feature Lead and purple expert, gave a little hint.
What did that hint mean? What did that have to do with the Hearthstone Onyxia Puzzle entrance? The WoW Secret Finding community joined efforts and turned the game around to make that hint make sense. On the other side, some distracted players happened to stumble upon the answer by pure chance without even realizing the importance of their discovery.
So, where is the entrance? To start solving the first of the three Onyxia Puzzles, you need to go into the Hearthstone Mode section, Solo Adventures, and then enter the Book of Mercenaries. That will be the starting point of your mysterious adventure.
As we mentioned, there are three Hearthstone mysteries to solve in this Onyxia Puzzle. The road starts with Kurtrus. To enter you need to click on the left-right corner of Kurtru’s Book of Mercenaries screen. Once you do that you will be teleported to the first puzzle as the image shows.
The second and third parts of Hearthstone’s Onyxia Puzzle have similar access points. For Xyrella, you need to click on the bottom left corner of her Book of Mercenaries. Finally, for Cariel, the secret entry point is on the top right corner of her Book of Mercenaries.
