This week's Tavern Brawl is Henchmania! Read on for our quick guide on how this particular Tavern Brawl works, a list of the different heroes, and more.
Hearthstone Henchmania Tavern Brawl
In the Henchmania Tavern Brawl, players must select a specific hero before entering a game. The options include Mr. Chu, Candlebeard, Myra Rotspring, George the Fallen, Manhunter Ivan, Voodoomaster Vex, Russell the Bard, Sephira Dusktalon, and Raeth Ghostsong. Each character has a unique hero power.
Here are the details for each option:
Shuffle an Explosive into your opponent's deck.
Give a minion Charge.
Trigger a random friendly minion's Deathrattle.
George the Fallen
Give all your minions Divine Shield.
Put a random Secret from your deck into the battlefield.
Totem of Chaos
All Battlecries and Deathrattles trigger twice.
Russell the Bard
Gain control of an enemy minion with 2 or less attack.
Whenever your opponent casts a spell, draw a spell from your deck.
Deal 1 damage to all minions. If they die, refresh this.
This Tavern Brawl also features a passive bonus after mulligan:
Work for Hagatha
At the end of your turn, transform a random friendly minion into one that costs (1) more.
Work for Dr. Boom
Give all friendly minions Deathrattle: Deal 1-2 damage to a random enemy.
Work for Togwaggle
After you play a minion, add a coin to your hand.
Work for Madame Lazul
After you play a spell, gain a copy of a random card in your opponent's hand.
Hearthstone Henchmania Tavern Brawl strategy
There are different strategies to use in this Tavern Brawl as well. For example, if a player goes with Raeth Ghostsong, then it may lead to controlling the board against aggressive gameplay from Candlebeard opponents.
Meanwhile, George the Fallen's Divine Shields can be difficult to get through if they're not quickly popped using, for example, Raeth Ghostsong's hero power. As for fans of minion buffs, Sephira Dusktalon is the way to go since she has lots of small minions that can pepper in some damage.
Hearthstone players simply need to select one of these characters before jumping into the fray. There's no need to create one's own deck. This particular Tavern Brawl is also dominated with Rogue decks.
If a daily or weekly quest requires some Rogue gameplay, then players can easily get started by choosing Candlebeard, Myra Rotspring, Voodoomaster Vex, or Russell the Bard.
Claiming one's first weekly victory in the Henchmania Tavern Brawl results in a free Standard card pack.
