Hearthstone Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl strategy

The Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl requires you to select one of the 11 classes before building your own deck with it. After creating a deck, jump into the fray and smash open some crates to receive Stolen Winter Veil Gift spells. If one side of the board doesn't have a crate, then the game adds one in.

In this Tavern Brawl, you can deny your opponent crates by destroying them first. There are numerous ways to do this. For example, if you choose the Warlock class, you can take advantage of minions and spells like Sanguine Reveler, Plague of Flames, and even Void Terror. In the example below, the Sanguine Reveler minion destroyed a crate and grained a buff.

Hearthstone Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl guide

Destroying a crate grants you a Stolen Winter Veil Gift spell that costs one mana. Cast this spell to discover a random treasure with a five-mana discount. These treasures depend on your chosen Hearthstone class. The example below shows some possibilities for Warlock players.

When you cast the Stolen Winter Veil Gift spell, there's also the chance of getting the special Hardpacked Snowballs spell as an option. This card returns three random enemy minions to your foe's hand. This is a Frost spell that can be used by any class.
