Operation Haloween is here in Halo Infinite with a new COD Zombies-inspired game mode and an Operation Pass with rewards to unlock.

The Halo universe is once again trending upwards. With a successful Halo World Championship, a studio rebrand, and a move to Unreal Engine 5 in the future, things are looking bright. And those still loving Halo Infinite have more content to look forward to with Operation Haloween.

This Operation, of course, comes during October and the month of Halloween. It has many spooky-themed items in an event pass, that you can either get the premium version of for more content, or unlock plenty with the free track.

Let's go over everything it has to offer.

The Operation doesn't just give you rewards for playing. It has added plenty of new ways to play Halo Infinite. Let's start with the clear inspiration taking from Call of Duty and its acclaimed Zombies mode.

Survive the Undead is a new playlist that has arrived with Operation Haloween. This Firefight-style game mode, where you'll take on wave after wave of enemies that have risen from their graves.

To go along with it, the team put together three mode-specific maps:

  • Night of the Undead: A faithful recreation of the COD Zombies map Nacht Der Untoten.
  • Countdown of the Undead: A remix of Countdown from Halo: Reach.
  • Installation of the Undead: An original map made specifically for Survive the Undead.
