Climbing mountains, exploring the land, and swimming won’t be problems anymore with the Saurians.

If you’re one of those people who don't enjoy exploring the Genshin Impact world, the new region introduces creatures that can help you avoid leaving another area with low completion percentages. We're looking at you, Sumeru desert! The new dragons of Natlan, the Saurians, are here to save the day.

Genshin Impact Saurians explained

The first Saurian you will meet as soon as you reach Natlan is Tepetlisaurus. You can even name it. Don’t be afraid of the high mountains because Tepetlisaurus will be your best option for climbing them during exploration.

The mountain landscape of Genshin, especially in Natlan, can be pretty scary, but this little brown dragon will help you climb those big guys. He can also crawl in the ground, like a mole, and reach every place faster. Jumping during this underground drilling state will trigger a short, high-speed leap forward.

If you’re looking for a better option in the air, Yumkasaurus is the perfect creature for that. This little green guy can use his ability to go up in the sky and, like the Sumeru Four-Leaf Sigil, fly up to floating platforms. You can even choose what direction you want to follow! Besides looking like a Dendro dragon, it uses Flamegranate Pectin to deal pyro damage to enemies.

More Saurians in Genshin Impact

Genshin could not leave the hydro element behind, giving you a way to ride the water in style. Koholasaurus is similar to a shark, and it can jump over obstacles. Out of the water, it is a little slow, but you can use small dashes to reach the water again. It is the only one who can swim through lava as well, besides helping you gather materials and complete challenges.

All of these creatures are exclusive to the region and depend on the Phlogiston, which is an energy bar that works like a stamina bar.
