How to unlock the Waiting For Seeds to Sprout quest in Genshin Impact

Waiting for Seeds to Sprout is another world quest of the Natlan Region. Along with the other nine sub-quests, this one is part of the In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons chain. The quest does not have requirements and you can find it by teleporting to the east side of the Ancient Watchtower domain.

You'll have to climb the hill and at the top, you'll find some cracks in the floor and your little friend Tepetlisaurus will appear to start the quest.

Your Tepetlisaurus will start digging everywhere, but it seems you're not discovering a thing. Lead to all three holes in the ground until you find a "treasure". And the treasure is... a seed? Well seems like you and your friend will have to plant a seed and see how it goes.

Next, you'll have to infuse the seed with Phlogiston. If you don't have any, you can look for an Everflame Seed, Flaming Seeds of Phlogiston, or other sources of Phlogiston before coming back for the seed. Then some bugs and enemies will appear attracted by the seed. You need to fight them!

When you win, the seed will be protected and the quest completed. Enjoy your 30 primogems and the 37,000 mora.

To gain the achievement of "A New Hope" you have to wait a real day and come back to the place of the quest. When your game resets, you'll find your friend there, the grown-up flowers and you will win the achievement after the cut scene.

This quest is part of a chain of 10 In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons world quests. They're spread across the Natlan region and they do not appear on the map, making your task a little bit more difficult. However, you can complete them at any time and order.
