How to unlock the Treasures and Collectors quest in Genshin Impact

The Treasures and Collectors quest in Genshin Impact doesn't appear on the map. To find it, you must teleport to the northwest side of Scions of the Canopy. There, you'll find an excavation site and a girl called Quipia who will start the quest right away.

After you talk to Quipia, you must go to the excavation site to "find your luck!" With the help of your little friend Tepetlisaurus, destroy the rock at your right to find a Yumkasaur Spiritsconce. When you transform into the green Saurian, you will be able to destroy a wall and enter a passage.

Open the gate to enter the final room. There, you can use the Yumkasaur ability to move the rock that's blocking your prize. Doing this frees the Monetoo, and enters the graffiti on the wall. But things don't go smoothly because you have to fight a Secret Source Automaton: Hunter-Seeker! When you win, your prize is... a ball? That's weird, right?

You now have to return to Quipia to understand what is the ball for. Use the Yumkasaur to go up the wall and retrieve your precious chest. After that, you can just teleport back to the northwest side of Scions of the Canopy and talk to Quipia again.

Quipia decides that the ball is not a relic and does not have a lot of value in the market, but she wants to keep it. However, your little friend Tepetlisaurus says it wants to also be a collector and keep the ball. Quipia understands and appreciates the hard work of the trio! The quest is now complete. Your rewards are 30 Primogems and 37,000 Mora.

The Secret Source Ball Mechanism that you found underground is stored in the rest area, which is a new Natlan area where some special items show up after concluding some quests. You can unlock this area by completing the sub-quest Gifts and Gifts in Return.

This quest is part of a chain of 10 In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons world quests. They're spread across the Natlan region and they do not appear on the map, making your task a little bit more difficult. However, you can complete them at any time and order.
