Special Friends is one of the newest quests of Genshin Impact Version 5.0. This is a sub-quest belonging to the In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons chain. To find it, you have to teleport to the Pyro Statue of the Seven in Scions of the Canopy and go up the hill behind the statue. You can use the Yumkasaurus right in front of the statue.

There's a Yumkasaurus and an alpaca at the top of the statue. Get close to them to start the quest. The first thing you must do is fight the angry Yumkasaurus, but it's an easy task! The Yumkasaurus only wants to protect its friend. Next, talk to all of the alpacas around.
It seems like the other alpacas don't want to be friends with our little Saurian companion. Too bad! After you finish talking, your little friend Tepetlisaurus finds an alpaca that cannot reach the top of the hill. You have to find a wooden plank to help the alpaca. This is located right next to you. After that, they became friends!
After reporting to Wactana, she lets you have a small wooden alpaca as a reward for completing the Special Friends quest in Genshin Impact. You also receive 20 Primogems and 26,500 Mora. Have fun exploring Natlan!
