The Lies and Promises quest is one of the various world quests of Genshin Impact's newest pyro region. This is a sub-quest belonging to the In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons chain. Like the other sub-quests, the Lies and Promises will not appear on your map. To find it, you have to teleport to the underground area of Teticpac Peak. At the end of the upper river, you'll find a Strange Yumkasaurus guarding a Luxurious Chest.

It seems like the Strange Yumkasaurus is blocking the path to the treasure, but no one can understand why, even your little friend Tepetlisaurus. You have to find a way to communicate with it. For that to happen, you must transform into the Yumkasaurus behind you.
After finding out that the Strange Yumakasaurus is only hungry, you must pick up some food for it. Just talk to it and give it anything. However, we recommend you give it a piece of raw meat since it is usually what the Saurians eat. After the meal, it falls asleep.
Your task now is to find a way to wake up the Yumakasaurus. You can try transforming into it, but that won't work. Therefore, you have to go with your Tepetlisaurus friend and look for a treasure by a little tunnel on the left side. However, there's only a note inside the chest. The Strange Yumakasaurus' master was testing people's empathy for the Saurian.
After talking to the chief of Scions of the Canopy, Wayna, he agrees to take someone feeding the Strange Yumakasaurus daily. He also rejects the actions of the previous master and the abandonment of the little Saurian. Genshin Impact is not only about good stories. You can now enjoy your 20 Primogems and 26,500 Mora.
