Mavuika Kit
As a playable character, Mavuika is a 5-star Pyro Claymore. She is the second of this archetype following Diluc. The other Pyro Claymore characters are Gaming and Xinyan.
Mavuika has played an active role in the Natlan Archon Quest as the Pyuro Archon. This was no secret either, she did not shy away from her identity as the Archon. The people of Natlan openly acknowledge her, and as the Story Quest progressed, we learned more of her influence and witnessed several displays of power.

Mavuika Combat Skills
Mavuika, like the rest of the Natlan characters, plays around her Nightsoul form. On top of dealing decent damage herself, she can apply Pyro to enemies even while off-field, making her a worthy replacement to Xiangling in many cases. Her Elemental Burst also does not use Energy, but a completely different resource altogether.
Normal Attack: Flames Weave Life
The usual Claymore Basic Attack pattern. She has a unique CHarged Attack named "Severing Splendor."
Elemental Skill: The Named Moment
Mavuika summons her "All-Fire Armaments" which can manifest itself as one of two forms. She deals Nightsoul-Aligned Pyro DMG and fills up her Nighsoul points upon casting.
Tap - Divine Name Unleashed
- The Armaments take the form of Rings of Searing Radiance, which deal Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG to nearby enemies at intervals.
Hold - Ancient Name Unbound
- The Armaments manifest as "Flamestrider," which is essentially a motorcycle. While riding her bike, Mavuika has increased speed, can temporarily cross various terrain types, and can glide in mid-air.
- Her Normal, Charged, and Plunging attacks are infused with Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG and cannot be overridden. She also deals DMG when colliding with enemies while sprinting.
Tapping the Elemental Skill button swaps between the two forms.

Mavuika requires "Fighting Spirit" instead of Elemental Energy to cast her Burst.
Fighting Spirit
She can fill up the bar by:
- Nightsoul points consumed by party members are converted to Fighting Spirit.
- Normal attacks by party members grant Mavuika Fighting Spirit each time they hit an enemy.
Mavuika can cast Burst when her Fighting Spirit bar is at least 50%. Upon casting:
- Consume all Fighting Spirit.
- Gain Nightsoul Points and enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state. Deal Nightsoul-aligned AoE Pyro DMG (scaling with the consumed Fighting Spirit) and enter the "Crucible of Death and Life" state.
Crucible of Death and Life
- Mavuika gains resistance to interruption will not consume Nightsoul points.
- Increase Normal and Charge Attack while in Flamestrider (motorcycle) mode, scaling with the consumed Fighting Spirit.
- Cancels when Mavuika leaves the field.
Mavuika Passive Talents
Gift of Flaming Flowers
Increase Mavuika's ATK when a party member triggers a Nightsoul Burst.
"Kiongozi"
Gain a decaying ATK buff to the current active character scaling with how much Fighting Spirit Mavuika consumed for her Elemental Burst.
Passive 2
Reduce Nightsoul Transmission cooldown for the party.
Night Realm's Gift: Exhaust Mode
This is the usual Natlan passive where she can consume Phlogiston and enables the Nightsoul Transmission while on Natlan.
Mavuika Constellations
- The Night-Lord's Explication - Increase Mavuika's maximum Nightsoul points and Fighting Spirit gain rate. She also gains ATK after gaining Fighting Spirit.
- The Ashen Price - Increase her Base ATK when in the Nightsoul's Blessing State. When the Armaments are in the Ring form, decrease nearby opponents' DEF. In the motorcycle form, increase her Normal and Charged ATK DMG.
- The Burning Sun - Increase Elemental Burst level and level cap.
- The Leader's Resolve - Remove the decay from the buff granted by "Kiongozi."
- The Meaning of Truth - Increase Elemental Skill level and level cap.
- "Humanity's Name" Unfettered - Enhance the All-Fire Armaments:
- Rings: a Flamestrider will crash into opponents hit by the Ring
- Flamestrider: Rings will follow Mavuika, dealing DMG in regular intervals.
- Additionally, improve the terrain-crossing abilities of the Flamestrider and Mavuika will partially fill her Nightsoul points when depleting it out of combat.
Another reminder that Mavuika's kit, skills, constellations, talents, and other details above are all subject to changes until she goes live.
She becomes playable in the Genshin Impact Version 5.3 update as a limited 5-star character. The update is expected to arrive on January 1, 2025.
