To use Kinich effectively you need to make Burgeon and Burning teams around him that will suit him the best.

To use Kinich more efficiently in Genshin Impact, you need to pair him up with the right characters that will make him stand out in various teams. There are a few team combinations you can try in which Kinich may play the role of a DPS or a Sub-DPS by triggering some Dendro reactions.

Kinich's kit mainly focuses on his elemental skill as a source of damage, you would also need to gather some Nightsoul points to use the Spikescaler Cannon, so you need characters that will further contribute to utilizing his passive talents effectively.

Burning Playstyle

Kinich will be the Main DPS in this team composition dealing massive damage with his Spikescaler Cannon (Genshin Impact Kinich Build). You will be relying on generating the Nightsoul points by triggering burning reactions to use it repetitively.

Some off-field Pyro applicators like Dehya will also prove helpful to inflict burning on opponents while they are affected by Dendro. Considering her tanking capabilities Dehya is a better option to use here, but you can also use Xiangling if you are an F2P.

Bennett is an excellent support character who can give you a huge attack buff, making your Kinich stronger. Emilie's elemental skill damage is increased when you use Burning damage, so she can act as a good sub-DPS in Kinich Burning teams in Genshin Impact.

Burgeon Playstyle

Similar to Burning, Kinich can generate Nightsoul points when you trigger Burgeon, so building a Burgeon team for Kinich is also a good choice. This team is slightly more complex than Burning, because you need to combine a few elements with Kinich's Dendro attacks.

You need a constant off-field Hydro Applicator, and we recommend you use Furina here, considering her damage potential, but alternatively, you can also use Kokomi and Xinqui.

Once, you have generated those Dendro cores using Hydro and Dendro reactions, you can use Thoma's Pyro attacks to trigger Burgeon. Thoma is a shielder, and can also apply Pyro off-field making him the most suitable Pyro character for Kinich's Burgeon team.
