The "He Never Dies" Jean cheese in Genshin Impact
To beat "He Never Dies" easily, you need Jean. The spectral capybara has an immense health pool and deals a ton of damage, but it is weak to interruptions.
The cheese only really involves Jean, but if you want some safety, feel free to bring defensive or healer units like Zhongli or Kokomi. For extra, extra safety, you can bring a Claymore character to interrupt its charge.
The capybara will be immediately susceptible to Jean's charge attack after the fight starts. Make sure to finish all of your shields and heals before pulling aggro.
The most reliable combo is Charge -> Charge -> Elemental Skill. Hold Jean's skill and point upwards because the goal is to beat it with fall damage. Once it lands, you can begin the combo again. If you find yourself constrained by her cooldown, try adding a small delay between your charge attacks or between combos. Be careful not to let it charge up, though!
Each time you do the combo, "He Never Dies" will take about 800,000 damage. Do it enough times and you'll get through his health bar in no time. If it does begin charging up the ultimate attack, use your Claymore character to interrupt it.
Non-cheese strategies for "He Never Dies"
If you don't find cheesing this cute little creature valorous enough, you can seek victory using more honorable methods. Overload teams perform quite well against him, given its susceptibility to interruptions. You can explore options such as Raiden Shogun, Yoimiya, Yae Miko, or even Amber.
