If you’re eagerly waiting for the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test, we’ve got the time the servers go up for you.
Marvel Rivals is undergoing a Closed Alpha Test, with servers up for 10 days. Players get to try out the new comic book-themed shooter, with some of their favorite characters.
But a big question coming from those in the game's Discord channel and across social media is when exactly do the Marvel Rivals servers go live? For this Closed Alpha, they're up at 5 p.m. PDT.
When do the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test servers go up?
The Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test is NA only. Well, it is supposed to be. Codes have gone out to individuals from NA who meet the system requirements NetEase is looking to test.
People outside of NA have gotten codes, or were told they can receive them through the other available means in several instances.
They'll be on NA servers, so ping could be a bit poor, but we've got the times for you in multiple locations. This will let you know exactly when the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test servers go up in your region:
- 5 p.m. PDT (US West)
- 8 p.m. EDT (US East)
- 1 a.m. BST (London)
- 4 a.m. UTC+4 (Dubai)
- 8 a.m. CST (Beijing)
- 12 p.m. NZST (New Zealand)
Of course, NetEase launches the servers on May 10 in the first time zones on the list. The further you go down, it becomes May 11 in that specific area. As for when the Closed Alpha ends, they're set to shut down the servers at 11:59 p.m. PDT on May 20.

When is the Marvel Rivals competitive mode active?
Even with the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test servers live, the competitive mode is not always available. NetEase has chosen to stagger the competitive queue's access throughout the test.
For starters, it won't be in the test until the second day. Competitive is active at 5 p.m. PDT until 12 a.m. PDT on Day 2.
Following that, you can play the mode from 12 p.m. PDT until 12 a.m. PDT each day. This is to ensure optimal matchmaking, as these are the most active NA times, preventing low numbers.
