The new Oblivion remaster is coming with some extra goodies.
After months of speculation and rumors, it appears as though Oblivion Remastered has finally revealed itself. While Bethesda still hasn't made any public comment or announcement regarding the game, leaks have surfaced that fully confirm the existence of the remaster. In addition to a potential release date for the week of April 21, we've also learned that Oblivion Remastered will arrive with a Deluxe Edition.
The Deluxe Edition will cost more than the base game, but it's also slated to receive extra content that you won't be able to get anywhere else. While the logistics of paying extra for a nearly 20-year-old game will vary from person to person, you might as well know what the Deluxe Edition of Oblivion Remastered is offering.
What content comes with Oblivion Remastered Deluxe Edition?

First and foremost, let's talk about the content you'll get in Oblivion Remastered if you decide to purchase the Deluxe Edition.
As Bethesda has still not even acknowledged the game's existence, all of this information isn't fully confirmed. However, reputable sources have come forward to say the Deluxe Edition will come with exclusive in-game items, such as armor for your horse and new weapons that you can equip on your character. The horse armor bonus is an homage to one of the most infamous pieces of DLC in video game history that came during the post-launch cycle of the original Oblivion.
We don't know what the horse armor looks like or what weapons you'll receive/when you'll receive them in-game. It's also possible that the Deluxe Edition comes with more content than we're currently aware of, so this might not be the end of what your money gets you.

Speaking of your money, just how much is the Oblivion Remastered Deluxe Edition going to cost you?
Unfortunately, we don't have a concrete figure for that yet, as we're still not even sure how much the base game is going to cost. However, leaks have surfaced that put Oblivion Remastered at around $40. If that's true, then the Deluxe Edition should cost somewhere between $50-60. Of course, that number could change depending on everything that the base game and the Deluxe Edition offer.
