Party Animals has finally made its grand entrance in September 2023 after years in production. The brawler game gives you everything you can ask for: ways to express your aggression as well as very cute animals!
The game was previously available to the public as a free demo in 2020. During this short period of time, the game attracted many players, including content creators and streamers. Recreate Games, the game developer, announced the release date to be in late 2022, although the release date had been further pushed back to 2023.
At it's core the game is very simplistic, but you truly appreciate the complexities only as you get deeper into the gameplay. The objective of Party Animals is to eliminate other players by using mechanics such as punching, tossing, jumping, and kicking. The players are also able to pick up a selection of weapons to help with the elimination.
There are three different modes to test you on your survival skills and your teamwork:
- Last Stand: Players have to eliminate the other players and be the last animal standing.
- Team Score: Two teams of four players compete against the opposite team to complete an objective.
- Arcade: Two teams of four have to eliminate the other players on the opposite team.
The game also offers 20 maps full of challenges and hazards. Moreover, there are 10 adorable animals you can choose to join the deadly party which includes a corgi, a crocodile, a gorilla, and a dinosaur.
