PlayStation's newest action-adventure game, Stellar Blade, launched on April 26 to a warm reception from critics. Many have praised Stellar Blade's story, combat system, and more, but some fans feel misled by unexpected outfit censorship. The developers released a day one patch, significantly changing multiple in-game outfits and more, much to the dismay of those who purchased the game. As a result, believers in the game have begun a campaign to #FreeStellarBlade.

On April 21, the official Stellar Blade account on 'X' released a statement regarding the game's censorship status. The day-one patch refuted that claim despite the studio alleging that all countries will receive the same uncensored version. Players quickly noticed the censorship of various outfits, including the bunny outfit, that looked noticeably different in the Stellar Blade trailers.

Anyone who preloaded the game on day one of release would have seen the version that ShiftUp presumably intended to release. Unfortunately, for currently unclear reasons, outfits like the one above now appear slightly altered. Additionally, the update addressed offensive graffiti found in-game.

Players have since taken to social media with the hashtag #FreeStellarBlade, and a petition exists for those who want the changes reverted. The petition has garnered over 6,000 signatures, and the game's director has commented on the outrage.

Stellar Blade’s wide selection of outfits has players seeking to unlock them all. While the Bunny outfit has emerged as an early favorite, the Black Pearl Nano Suit is gaining steam. This guide explains how you can unlock this outfit and add it to your collection.



How do I unlock the Black Pearl Nano Suit?

Those looking to unlock the Black Pearl Nano Suit must acquire all 49 collectible cans in the game. These cans of various beverages become more prominent once you have met with Adam and Lily and reached Xion. 



As you navigate through the somewhat desolate city, you will stumble across various vending machines. Some of these dispense drinks which you can acquire by interacting with the machine. After it doesn't work the usual way, Eve will kick it and a beverage will fall out. These are your key to the Black Pearl Nano Suit.






Where can I find cans in Stellar Blade?

























Vending machines containing cans exist in almost every significant area in the game. For example, we found several in Xion and another shortly after in the Wastelands. 



Although we don't have a complete list of the locations yet, your best and easiest place to begin is in Xion. From there, you will be able to identify each machine and add another can to your collection. The best part is you can fast travel to revisit areas you may have missed.

How to unlock the Black Pearl Nano Suit in Stellar Blade

FaZe Clan is "rebooting" with another round of layoffs and updates to its esports teams. The command line terminal-themed video announcement included lists of all members being kept and cut by the organization.



This news from FaZe follows plummeting stock prices, multiple rounds of layoffs, and recent exits from VALORANT and Rocket League esports. The "reboot" seems to be part of an attempt to turn things around under new ownership.

Amidst a jumble of technical jargon, the video posted on Twitter included two sets of names. One featured all the members selected to remain with the organization. The other, shown for only a brief moment, listed off everyone affected by layoffs.

Stellar Blade is gathering a lot of attention; Is it the blade, the combat animations, the inspiration model, or the different outfits for protagonist Eve? During an early interview with PushSquare, the developers made clear that Stellar Blade will feature 30 different outfits at launch, with many accessories like earrings, glasses or different hairstyles to add some customization. 



The number of outfits later increased to 34 with the announcement on April 25, that Stellar Blade will launch with New Game+. The developers have also shared outfits released in the future would all be free, with the exception of crossover content with other franchises.

Stellar Blade’s skill tree is one of its most unique features. Players can build out their abilities, attacks, and more using it, but the useful Double Jump doesn't arrive until later in the game. This guide explains how you can get the double jump in Stellar Blade and how to use it.



How do I get the Double Jump in Stellar Blade?







The Double Jump ability arrives a decent way through the game after rescuing Lilly from her crashed pod. Eve travels with Adam and Lily to Xion, humanity's last surviving city. This part of the game offers a much-needed break from combat. 



However, after setting out on a few more missions and returning. Lily will adjust your Exo suit during the Light of Hope questline. After doing so, Eve instantly gains the Double Jump ability.

Thankfully, the Double Jump is one of the easier abilities to master in Stellar Blade. All you have to do is press the 'X' button twice in rapid succession. If done correctly, Eve will jump once followed by another flip to complete the animation.



This skill is useful during your Stellar Blade journey. During our experience, a single jump with a dash sometimes isn't enough to get over those wide gaps or wall-running sequences. The Double Jump makes it much easier to navigate the tough terrain, ensuring you won't have to return back to a camp.

However, while useful for platforming, you won't rely on the Double Jump much in combat. It's not practical to use in that setting and can occasionally hinder your ability to fight enemies, especially the big boss battles.

To add Eve's Holiday Rabbit suit to your collection, head out to the Wasteland and go northeast. Next, enter D1G-g2r's scrapyard and talk to the character. After this chat, go southeast and eliminate the Corruptor boss. Once that's done, there should be a box nearby. Go up to it and open it to collect the Design Pattern item for Eve's bunny suit.

How to equip Stellar Blade nano suits



To wear Eve's bunny outfit, enter the "Equipment" screen, select the "Exterior" option, and choose the suit. This outfit features bunny ears that go over Eve's shoulders plus a fluffy tail.

The Bulletin Board is your best friend if you want to help out the citizens of Xion by doing side quests to earn a bit of Gold and some other rewards. Of course, you're helpless if one of the requests is automatically refused. That's what happens with the Secret Request in Stellar Blade.






The short answer is, no, you cannot accept the Secret Request listing from Stellar Blade's Bulletin Board. It is enticing with its 5,000 Gold prize, but alas, it is scripted and there's nothing you can do. And no one knows why other than to potentially show EVE's lawful side.

More Stellar Blade requests appear on the Bulletin Board as you progress through the game, or complete other requests listed first. The latter is how you'll come across the Secret Request listing in Stellar Blade:

Be denied and deal with it




No matter how many times you smash the X button while selecting the request, nothing will happen. It's just one of those small moments used to enhance the main character and the world she finds herself in.

EVE goes with her gut-feeling for this one. She has a discussion with herself regarding the overclocking of the requester's brain that is mentioned in the listing. EVE calls it intense, and boom, Secret Request in Stellar Blade is outright refused.

After [In Progress] goes away during EVE's comments, a big [Refused] tag sits next to the Secret Request listing. Whoever made the request doesn't want the Orcal to know and asks EVE to not get caught. Since EVE is of the law, she doesn't feel right accepting it.

Can you accept Secret Request in Stellar Blade?

Stellar Blade isn't all about slashing up Naytiba. You can enjoy some leisure activities, like collecting items, or even fishing. It isn't available right away, but once you get it, it can be a hassle trying to get used to fishing in Stellar Blade.






Let us guide you through unlocking it, casting the line, and catching enough to fish to get the Lonely Fisherman trophy.

It isn't particular hard to unlock fishing in Stellar Blade. The toughest aspect of it is time. You have to play the game for a handful of hours, until you complete enough main story missions to reach the Great Desert.

Once you, Adam, and Lily travel to the Great Desert location, you can meet Clyde. Just head over to the small lake to the east of where your crew lands. Talk to Clyde, who isn't up for much a conversation. After, you can grab the fishing pole off to the side and take part in the minigame.

This begins the Looking Glass mission. You just have to successfully catch one fish, then Clyde will finally talk to you. Chat with him to learn his story, then you can truly begin fishing all around Stellar Blade after Looking Glass is completed and you've earned rewards, such as bate and Gold.

Once you have the fishing pole, you can find a fishing spot to cast. From there, if a fish bites, you've got to perfect the minigame to reel it in and catch it. Here is the order of controls you need to know to fish properly in Stellar Blade:




Hold Down on the D-Pad and select the fishing rod from the equipment wheel 



Press Down on the D-Pad to to equip the fishing rod 



Pull down and then push up on the Left Stick to cast



Press R2 to start the minigame when a fish bites

With the review embargo lifted on Stellar Blade, media website IGN came across graffiti in-game that when looked at next to each other appeared to read the phrase "Hard R". The term itself, while maybe harmless to the world at large, is considered a racist slur in particular in North America. Stellar Blade has a character who runs a shop as an information broker in-game. This character, called Roxanne, runs the "R Shop". The R Shop sign has a large R with the word shop written underneath it. Right next to it is graffiti that says the word "Hard". Unfortunately for the developers it visually came across as a "Hard R", which evokes a references to a racial slur, particularly in North America. Reviewers pointed out this unintentionally racist graffiti on Twitter, prompting backlash towards the game.

There are a handful of puzzles you'll have to solve while playing Stellar Blade. Many of them progress the main story, but some Stellar Blade puzzles are part of side quests, such as the Simple Puzzle mission.



This is a request found on the Bulletin Board of Xion. A stranger has put in the request, which you can accept, and asks that you play their game with them and complete their puzzle.

Discord have announced the newest addition to their platform in the shape of Activities. This will allow users to play games and watch YouTube together. 



These Activities will be available to all Discord users but those who have Discord Nitro will able to access a wider range of games to play with their friends.

Activities will be available to anyone in a voice channel and can be accessed through either the Discord app or <a href="https://esports.gg/guides/fortnite/fortnite-discord-quests-are-back-here-is-how-you-can-participate/">Discord </a>in your browser.

Using Activities is simple. When you join a voice call in Discord, there will be a new rocket ship icon next to the screen share button. Clicking this will start an Activity for the voice call.

If someone in the call has already begun an Activity and you want to join in, just hover over the voice channel and you will be able to see a button encouraging you to join in.

Not everyone in the call will need to be taking part in the Activity, multiple different Activities can be hosted in the same voice channel. Some Activities will have participant caps, meaning that in some instances it may be first come, first served.

Starting a YouTube video is as simple as clicking the Activities button and entering a YouTube link. Everyone in the call who joins the Activity will be able to watch along with the host.

<h2>What games are available? </h2>



The only free game available at launch will be Putt Party. It is a game for 1-8 players but any extra people in the voice channel can join the game as a spectator.

Putt Party is a mini-golf party game with themed courses. Power ups are littered across the course with the goal being the same as traditional golf - to get your ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible.

We are using a new form of graphics capture. However, on older versions of windows (windows 10) specifically, this graphics capture interface would make the window being captured having a yellow border. On windows 11, it does not have the yellow border. We had a bug in the code that was not detecting this appropriately. For now, we are rolling back this new capture interface, so that we can fix this issue, so in around ~30 minutes we should have this fix deployed to the stable client - and the yellow borders will be gone following a reload of your client. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The latest Discord update seems to have caused the Yellow border problem for users. The Discord Yellow Border issue mostly props up when users are streaming or screen sharing.&nbsp;
