Silent Hill f is looking to be one of the meatiest survival horror experiences of 2025.
The next mainline entry in the Silent Hill franchise, Silent Hill f, is almost upon us, and if you’re curious how long it takes to beat its campaign, you’re in the right place. Please note that we have yet to play the full game, and the details in this article merely reflect the information that’s available online.
Silent Hill f campaign length explained

Silent Hill f could take over 12 to 13 hours to beat, at least according to Famitsu’s review of the game. As spotted by ryokutya2089, this is just one playthrough of the game. Silent Hill f features multiple endings, five to be precise, and exploring them all could take a while. We will update this article with our own hands-on experience soon.
As for the review itself, Silent Hill f is now the highest-rated game in the franchise by Famitsu. The Japanese magazine awarded it a score of 36/40 based on four different reviewers. In comparison, last year’s Silent Hill 2 remake received a score of 35/40 from Famitsu.
Unlike past entries in the franchise, Silent Hill f is a more action-oriented horror game with an emphasis on combat and boss encounters. Early previews of the game suggested that Silent Hill f is a soulslike game, though producer Motoi Okamoto was quick to dismiss that idea.
However, combat is integral to gameplay, and Silent Hill f features an ambitious NG+ mode with varying boss encounters and new story scenarios that should compel you and other players to give it another run.
With all of that combined, Silent Hill f is looking to be one of the meatiest survival horror experiences of 2025. In comparison, SH 2 remake developer’s Cronos: The New Dawn also takes 12 to 15 hours to beat, with completionists taking over 28 to 30 hours in total.
