Are Helldiver’s 2 Major Orders actually bugged?
Sometimes your Major Orders in Helldivers 2 aren’t actually bugged. This can be because you’re not completing individual quests. If you’re completing community quests your bar is likely to stay in place for a significant amount of time.
When the whole planet is successfully liberated by your like-minded Helldivers 2 peers, you’ll see the bar move. However, this doesn’t mean bugs don’t occur.
Check for updates
Go into Steam and right-click Helldivers 2 in your library. Then, go into Properties and click Updates. From there make sure Automatic Updates is selected.
If you’re on your PlayStation 5, try restarting your console. This should start the update automatically.
Restart your game, console, or PC
Restarting your game is a tried-and-tested method that’s been successful since the dawn of time. This typically jolts your game into gear and can be the fix you’ve been waiting for.
Check Arrowhead's social media
Otherwise, you’ll have to check socials for Helldivers 2. There are frequent updates, so this might be the result of a recent patch. Make sure there aren’t any posts about the issue on Arrowhead Games Studio’s social media accounts.
