Forza Horizon 5 Series 30 Autumn guide: Unlocking the Lynk & Co 02 hatchback

The Lunar New Year update in Forza Horizon 5 is going well, with a new model from Chinese carmaker Lynk & Co up for grabs in the autumn playlist. Unlocking it requires 20 festival playlist points that are quite easy to get, as always.

There's also a treasure hunt and photo challenge with five points involved, just like with the summer playlist. Completing the Series 30 challenges rewards players with cars from Chinese as well as Korean manufacturers. The exclusive reward for autumn is the Lynk & Co 02 hatchback. Additionally, players who earned enough points in the summer playlist have a chance to unlock the 80-point series reward, which is the Hyundai Ioniq 6.

The treasure hunt for the autumn playlist is much easier compared to the summer one, with a very simple clue and a dead giveaway in the picture. The clue goes, "It may not be a tiger, but a big cat that's for sure, send it sideways three times and the treasure you'll secure." It's quite obvious that the big cat it's referring to is a Jaguar. And when it says send it sideways three times, it means you'll need to earn three drift skills with the Jaguar. Easy enough to do. Just drive any Jaguar off road and slam the steering on either side. It's even easier to break into a drift with the traction control and stability control turned off in the difficulty settings.

After you unlock the treasure location, you'll notice that it's near the stadium. You're in for a treat here because the Lunar New Year stadium decor is mesmerizing. The treasure chest is located right in the center of the stadium.

Thankfully, you can complete the photo challenge exactly where you find the treasure chest. Just head towards the edges of the stadium until you find a platform to climb on next to a dragon head. Take a picture of your car on the platform and you'll complete the photo challenge, earning two playlist points.

As always, you've got five points in the bag if you've completed the treasure hunt and the photo challenge, leaving you with 15 more to earn to unlock the Lynk & Co 02 hatchback. Forza Horizon 5, as usual, gives you a myriad of options to do this in the autumn playlist.

There are three speed zones which you'll need to complete in a Lynk & Co vehicle tuned to A800. Each of these will give you two points each, making it 11 points in total. Additionally, you could just complete the Trial and earn 10 points, unlocking the exclusive reward of 20 points. Alternatively, you could complete the three Eventlab activities worth three points each. Here's a list of combinations you could try:

Bear in mind that the Dystopia Ruins Eventlab by Don Joewon Song can be quite frustrating because of a narrow path.

You also have the opportunity to unlock the Hyundai Ioniq 6 in the autumn playlist if you earn 80 series points in the overall festival playlist. If you've earned around 35 playlist points in the summer playlist and 35 more in the autumn, it's enough to reach 80 series points.
