There’s millions for the taking at EWC 2026.
The Esports World Cup has begun to make a wave of announcements for the 2026 event coming later this year. After revealing the full slate of games fans can expect to see at the tournament, there's also official confirmation about the full prize pool for EWC 2026.
While everyone knows there will be millions of dollars up for grabs at the event, just how much money will be on the line in Saudi Arabia this year?
Full prize pool for EWC 2026
Last year, in 2025, the prize pool for EWC was just over $70 million, spread out amongst nearly two dozen gaming tournaments. That was a record-breaking amount of money at the time, but it's no longer the most money offered at an esports event.

In 2026, there will be a total prize pool of $75 million at EWC. This $75 million is dispersed over 25 tournaments across 24 games, where over 2,000 players will be in attendance from July 6 to August 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, Ralf Reichert, stated that "The life-changing prize pool exists to support the people at the heart of esports: the players and the Clubs that invest in them year after year. EWC is different because of the Club Championship. One title crowns a champion. EWC crowns the ultimate cross-game Club Champion.”
In addition to the prize money for each individual tournament at EWC 2026, there will be $30 million given to the top 24 teams at the entire event. The EWC Club Champion, the winningest team at the event, will receive the lion's share of that prize pool, walking away with $7 million. MVP winners will receive cash as well, and teams that win individual tournaments will, of course, take home a solid cash prize.
