We're a few weeks removed from the launch of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, so by this point you might be asking how to get the ball rolling on faction renown. The four factions found in the Dragon Isles all have a significant grind attached to their progressions. This means it'll take some significant effort to prove yourself and earn those sweet, sweet rewards. Let's take a look at the various ways you can now jumpstart your Dragonflight renown via world quests with these handy tips and tricks!
Dragonflight Renown weekly quest is go
Your first stop on the Dragonflight renown tips tour is the Dragon Isles capital of Valdrakken. In the city center outside of the Aspects tower is the draconid NPC Kazra, offering a weekly quest called The World Awaits. Those familiar with Shadowlands weeklies will know what's up immediately, as Kazra offers the ability to essentially gain a full level of renown with any faction. The quest and rewards are:
- Quest requirement: Complete 10 World Quests in the Dragon Isles
- Reward: Get 2500 reputation with one of the Major Factions: Dragonscale Expedition, the Iskaara Tuskarr, the Maruuk Centaur, and the Valdrakken Accord
That's right: a full renown just for doing 10 World Quests. Even better: This week the passive bonus is for reputation from World Quests, giving one and all a 50% increase from rep rewards. If you're trying to hustle the likes of the Valdrakken Accord faction to 12 so you can pick the story quests back up this will be your fastpass to fun.

This Dragonscale Expedition-centric renown tip comes into play once you get the faction to Renown Seven. Each flag planted is worth 250XP for the faction, with 20 flags in all. We've supplied the flags for the Waking Shores above, so get out there and climb the tallest points! A quest triggers once 10 flags get planted as well, so keep an eye out for that.
Renown tips for the nomad life
Ever wanted to be a sheep herder? No? Well, too bad! We're after any and all renown and the Maruuk Centaurs have daily quests that need doing. Throughout the Ohn'ahran Plains are Centaur camps that appear to move around. These camps hold dailies centered around the Centaur faction and its rep, giving four daily quests that change while giving fantastic reputation payouts. The quest themselves range from "go kill this enemy" to "herd these very dumb sheep back to the camp," but are well-worth tracking down whenever available. As an added bonus, you can sometimes do these as part of the Grand Hunt timed quests if in the area, meaning all the more reputation.
Go grind some renown
The Dragonflight renown grind seems a bit more calm than the ones found in Shadowlands, but it will still take hard work and dedication. However, before you know it you'll be earning faction rewards and moving the story along in the Dragon Isles!
