Let’s get you that high stat armor you’ve been looking for in Destiny 2.
Everyone has that one piece of armor that they just can't seem to replace due to unlucky rolling, or getting good stats in something you don't need. However, there are things Destiny 2 players can do to more reliably roll high stat armor, which is much simpler than you might think.

How to get high stat armor in Destiny 2
There are a few things you need to be doing right now in Destiny 2 to get the best high stat armor rolls you can for the stats you need. The first thing is actually on your Ghost, where you can select one of the mod spots (third from the left) to focus a certain stat you may be looking for.
In the image below, you can see that I have the "Resilience Armoror" currently equipped on my Titan, as having 100 Resilience is key to survivability in more difficult late-game content. But, if you already have one stat to 100 and you are working on a second or third, this focus can be a huge help.
After you've done this, you should be working on getting as many engrams for vendors as possible and saving them up to do focused decoding on whatever armor slot you are looking for. This will take some time, but it is the best way to get as many chances as you can for solid rolls on that pesky piece of armor you've been stuck with for weeks (mine is a pair of gauntlets with a 61 total power). The maximum number a single stat can roll is +30 for those looking to min-max and optimize.
Otherwise, every weekend, you should be popping by Xur to see what he has to offer. Typically, his armor rolls at higher overall numbers, usually between 63 and 67, but the stats won't be as predictable as you might like.
Once you have your Ghost mod setup, get out there and start farming for those rolls. While you're in queue, make sure to check out the other content we have for Destiny 2 at esports.gg!
