Can’t skip cutscenes in Helldivers 2? Here’s your fix

Helldivers 2’s unskippable cutscene glitch is likely driving players crazy. There is a way to skip a cutscene in Helldivers 2. 

But, there is a chance there is a pesky glitch making your life slower and harder. Unfortunately for Arrowhead Games Studio, there have been multiple bugs impacting Helldivers 2 gameplay. But, they have been taking swift action when need be. 

There is a way to skip the introduction in Helldivers 2. All you have to do is hold the escape key on your keyboard for three seconds—however, it can be glitched at times.

So, if it’s still not working, it’s likely that your introduction is glitched. Fear not, there are some potential fixes.

Most people seem to have only encountered this particular glitch since the most recent Helldivers 2 update. For those of you impacted, here’s what you have to do:

You’ve likely seen this step a million times. But, it’s worked more than I can count. Restart your game, PC, or console, and try again. Otherwise, you might have to sit through every cutscene.

To verify the integrity of game files for Helldivers 2, right-click the game in your Steam Library. Next, go into properties, and then go into Local Files. From there, select Verify Integrity of Game Files and wait for it to finish.

Once it’s done, reopen Helldivers 2 and hopefully, you’ll be able to skip every Helldivers 2 cutscene imaginable.
