Oblivion Remastered is real, and it's finally out for the world to play. The remastered Elder Scrolls game features modern graphics and new technological systems that make it a much more demanding experience on your PC. However, Oblivion Remastered doesn't require the most modern hardware according to the official PC requirements list.

Before you download the game on PC, you need to know whether your system can actually run the game. You can gauge if you have the right hardware by taking a look at the minimum and recommended requirements lists for Oblivion Remastered below.

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered PC requirements list

There are two different PC requirement lists for the game. The first is the minimum requirements and the other is the recommended requirements. The minimum requirements are what you need to simply launch the game and have it run at a very low resolution with anywhere from 30-60 frames per second.

On the other, the recommended requirements are needed to run Oblivion Remastered at a smooth FPS and a high-definition resolution. The recommended requirements should allow you to achieve 60 FPS at 1920x1080p at the very least. If your PC exceeds the recommended requirements, you can go higher with your resolution, as Oblivion Remastered supports 4K resolution.

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, Intel Core i5-10600K
  • Memory: 32 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6800XT or NVIDIA RTX 2080
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 125 GB available space

As you can see, the hardware required isn't too modern, so most players should be able to run the game at minimum settings. However, all PCs will need at least 16 GB of RAM to run Oblivion Remastered, which might be a deal-breaker for some players with older PCs.
