It takes a village.

Base building is an integral part of the gameplay in Dune: Awakening. You will likely spend more time scavenging resources to build items in your base than completing narrative-heavy quests.

However, since there’s no straightforward way to fast-travel within the region, lugging crafting materials from one corner to another can get tedious after a while. It’s also very time-consuming, not to mention the constant, looming threat of being swallowed by a sandworm. As such, in this guide, we explain how to move a base in Dune: Awakening.

While there is no concrete way to move your base in Dune: Awakening, there is a tedious workaround for it. All you have to do is save your base’s blueprint and use it to replicate your original base in a different area.

For this, you will need a Solido Replicator, which can be researched in the Salvage Products section. Once you have its blueprint, use a Fabricator to craft the Solido Replicator. The most basic version will require x20 Salvaged Metal. Alternatively, you can get this item by trading it with other players.

And that’s pretty much it! The Solido Replicator only recreates the base’s blueprint, so you will need new materials to craft it. You can also dismantle your original base and obtain all your materials to create its replica. However, you will have to move them with a vehicle.

The Sandbike is the first vehicle you can craft in Dune: Awakening. It’s the simplest way to move all your crafting materials from one base to another. Make sure to craft and attach the Sandbike Inventory Mk1 or Mk2 to increase the storage of your bike. It will allow you to carry more materials.

Alternatively, you can invest in a booster to increase the acceleration and top speed of your bike. It should significantly reduce the time it takes to travel between bases.
