Acquire Copper Ore with ease in Dune: Awakening with our farming guide.
Wondering about the best Copper Rre farming spots in Dune: Awakening? Don’t worry, we got you covered! Copper Ore is a precious early-game resource that you need to fabricate items like the Sandbike and Survey Probe launcher.
Thankfully, Copper Ore is easy to spot in the sand-infested wilderness of Arrakis, irrespective of your starting class in Dune: Awakening. However, you will need plenty of it. And it can be tedious to run back and forth from your base to farm them.
As such, in this guide, we highlight some of the easy-to-reach and efficient Copper Ore farming locations in Dune: Awakening.
Where to get Copper Ore in Dune: Awakening

Hagga Basin South is rich in Copper Ore. There are plenty of smaller pieces and large chunks of blue copper rocks scattered everywhere. They are easy to spot, even more so than Granite Stone, as they often spawn on rocky structures. You can also find them on the ground, which makes it easier to farm them.
That said, you will need hundreds of Copper Ore to craft multiple items in short succession. With that in mind, the best Copper Ore farming spots should be near your base(s). Depending on how far your base is from the Wreck of the Alycon (center of the map), there are two great spots for farming Copper Ore.

You will find two rocky areas directly south of the Wreck of the Alycon. This is our favorite place to farm Copper Ore as both areas are near one another, with very few stretches of desert in between. Hence, if you mine all the Copper Ore in one location, you can quickly hop onto the other without worrying about alerting a sandworm.

Alternatively, if your base is east or west of the Wreck of the Alycon, we recommend checking out the rocky areas around the Old Griffin Hideaway. There are a few spots here where you can find Copper Ore. We have marked them all in the screenshot above. Every blue rock you break with the Cutteray will get you forty Copper Ore. Hence, it shouldn’t take long to farm them.
Resources spawn every ten minutes, so there’s no way of knowing where Copper Ore would spawn next. However, if you clear the fog on the map with a Survey Probe Launcher, you can zoom in to see possible Copper Ore spots. You can check out the Legend section to see what the Copper Ore’s icon looks like on the map.
