Here is everything you need to know about the animatronics that will appear in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic.
One of the best horror franchises is about to release another game that will make you reconsider all your life choices. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic is set to launch on June 13, featuring more animatronics to frighten you. Let's take a look at what we know so far!
Pluto Look-alike
Following the Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic trailer, one of the first things we notice is a plushie lying on the ground. Some fans believe it may be a nod to Sparky the Dog. This was a minor animatronic that appeared in the 2023 Five Nights at Freddy’s film. It’s likely not a key detail, but it stands out in the scene, thanks to its large green eyes and an appearance reminiscent of Pluto from Mickey Mouse.
On May 30, Steel Wool Studios shared recovered footage from the archive of the inventor Edwin Murray. In a very quick frame at the end, we can see the plushie, which is exactly the same as in the game's official trailer. Since we are not very sure about the role of this animatronic yet, we can suspect that Mimic might possess it during gameplay.
Poodle Mascot
In the Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach RUIN DLC, there is a group of characters called the Mascot Suits. Much like the Mimic, these vintage relics originally came from Murray’s Costume Manor and were kept hidden deep beneath the ruins of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place, resting in the sinkhole below. These suits will play a significant role in the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic. The Poodle Mascot is called Sharpay and was eventually used as part of the Mimic's costume.
Elephant Mascot
Right beside the Lion, we see the Elephant, which is also part of the Mascots. Contrary to the Lion, the Elephant appears more in the trailer, and it seems to be going to chase you down during the game. We still don't have an answer for why the Mimic had the costumes suits with it, but we might have that answer during the game. If the Elephant is acting on its own or is under the Mimic’s control is another mystery we have yet to solve.
White Tiger Mascot
In two very dark images, we are able to see the White Tiger mascot. These glowy blue and green eyes debuted in the Help Wanted 2 game. The Tiger is rumored to be based on the Mimic’s Tiger Rock persona from the Tales from the Pizzaplex series. Since it appeared twice in the trailer, we can expect it to be an important character in the game.

The Mycellium Men
The Mycelium Men appear dressed in mushroom costumes. The Mycelium Men band consists of green, red, blue, and fuchsia-colored variants of the character. However, in the game, we only get to see the blue one. Even if it is evil, the Mycellium Men are one of the cutest animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic game.
Guard Bot
The new guard bot, briefly shown in the trailer, is a fresh addition to the animatronic roster and may well be a predecessor to the S.T.A.F.F. Bots from Security Breach, the roaming robots that patrolled the Pizzaplex’s halls. This older model appears to be far less mobile, with a cart for its lower half and a handle on the back, suggesting it may need to be pushed around manually. The players will likely have fewer interactions with it, and it may not pursue them.
Swing Bee
The Swing Bee is another mascot that briefly appears in the background during a quick moment of player action. It may not be one of the animatronics that chase players, but it’s a clever Easter egg and a nice nod to the remaining mascots that inhabit this storyline.
Nurse Bot
The Nurse Bot stands out as one of the most terrifying animatronics in the game and the most humanoid of them all. If we close up on her name tag, she is called Dollie. We don't know much about her yet, but she’s sure to deliver plenty of jump scares.
Maestro Music Man
The largest of the animatronics — and the one most visually similar to a pre-existing character in FNAF — is the giant spider-like animatronic that drops through a glass ceiling to attack the player at the very end of the trailer. This “new” animatronic closely resembles DJ Music Man, the memorable Security Breach character who briefly pursued Gregory. However, while DJ Music Man was all vibrant colors and sick beats, this alternative version has a much more muted color palette and a mustache.
The Mimic
Of course, the game’s main attraction — and primary villain — is unmistakably present in the trailer. One of her most iconic moments occurs when he drops down from a vent in a wonderfully eerie fashion. Her real name is Jackie Springs. She is an animatronic based heavily on a jack-in-the-box, taking on the appearance of a birthday clown. If you’re afraid of clowns, this might not be the best game for you!
That's all for the animatronics present at the Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic. Stick around for more gaming news, guides, and updates on esports.gg.
