Own large amounts of Adamantite in no time!
Adamantite is a rare metal commonly used for crafting weapons, armor, and tools in Hytale. According to the game’s lore, Adamantite was crucial to the technological advancements of the Crucible people, and armor made from it is known to enhance the wearer’s light attacks.
If you want to upgrade your Thorium or Cobalt armor, this guide will show you the best location to farm Adamantite Ore so you can start crafting a full Adamantite armor set.
Best farming spot for Adamantite ore in Hytale
You can find lots of Adamantite deposits in Hytale’s Zone 4, the volcanic biome of the Devastated Lands. Within this region, the best Adamantite farming spot is none other than the place called the Cinder Wastes, which is an area surrounded by dark hills and volcanoes.

If you don’t see any dark, rocky landmasses on your map, try riding a horse and exploring further into your world until you locate one.
Tips for Adamantite mining
Although Adamantite can be mined with a Crude Pickaxe, the real challenge is its location. Deposits often appear near tanky mobs that can deal significant damage, even if you are wearing a full Thorium or Cobalt armor set.
So, to protect yourself as you search for Adamantite ores, bring lots of food and Repair Kits with you. You can also try to fight at long range by using a bow or crossbow, which will require you to bring lots of arrows.

While you can mine in this area with a Crude Pickaxe, it’s much more efficient to use a stronger pickaxe. Some Adamantite deposits are embedded in volcanic rocks, which take longer to break.
And lastly, in addition to Adamantite, you can also find valuable ores like Silver, Cobalt, and Iron in the Cinder Wastes. If you plan to mine extensively, consider setting up a Teleporter, which is a craftable item from the Arcanist’s Workbench, so you can easily return to your main camp.
