If you’re playing FragPunk on controller, then you’ll want to know the best settings to keep you in the game.
FragPunk is available for peripheral users of all kinds. If you slam a mouse and keyboard, good for you. If you're a controller user, plug on in and fiddle the sticks. Even with the delay on console, you can still use a controller on PC in FragPunk, and we've got the best settings.
It is important to utilize the best ones, as those of you going up against keyboard and mouse users could be at a disadvantage. And that's why we're here. Let's dive in.
The best controller settings to use in FragPunk
Whether you have a controller plugged in or not, you can go and adjust your controller settings. Just open up FragPunk, click the gear icon to open your Settings, and navigate to the Controller tab. You've got the button mapping page as well as an overall sensitivity page.
We've got a couple suggestions for both, so you can achieve the best controller settings in FragPunk.
Controller button mapping
If you don't want your microphone to be on at all times, you'll need to assign a push to talk button on your controller. Keep everything default except for the following options:
- Change Sprint to hold instead of toggle.
- Crouch: Click in the right-stick.
- Make crouch hold instead of toggle, too.
- Change push to talk to B.
This way, if you need to say something, you don't need to interrupt your ability to aim and crouch at the same time. B works great, so the right-stick can be used for crouch spamming and adjusting your aim at the enemy in front of you.
