Who is Flytrap in Fortnite? How to get the skin and more

If you play Fortnite, you know how the game loves to experiment with new types of skins, always showcasing their artists' best work. Amongst those skins is the infamous Flytrap, a popular Fortnite outfit used by many.

But who exactly is Flytrap? And how does a player get the popular skin?

Flytrap is a Legendary outfit in Fortnite, making it a well-appreciated skin. Flytrap features a male figure, except with a devilish red face, and a body encompassed by what seems to be a harrowing and gruesome plant.

Flytrap is basically what an evil plant man would like if there were ever a movie made about one.

The skin was first released back in 2018 during Chapter 1, Season 4, making it somewhat of an OG outfit in Fortnite. Flytrap has since then been in the Item Shop 25 times, with its most recent occurrence being on April 4, 2024.

So how does one get the Flytrap skin in Fortnite?

Grabbing Flytrap for your own Locker in Fortnite is quite simple, all you need to do is stock up on V-Bucks.

The popular skin is purchasable in the Item Shop. So how much does it cost?

Flytrap is a bit more on the expensive side, possibly due to releasing within the game so long ago. There is also a Flytrap bundle set, which is purchasable for only 2,400 V-Bucks.
