Where is the secret cave in Fortnite Chapter 5?

Fortnite's newest Chapter gave fans the fifth new map in the game’s six-year run. The vast landscape has many new landmarks and points of interest (POIs) to explore. However, a secret cave in Fortnite Chapter 5 is rapidly going viral.

Today, we’ll explain where you can find the secret cave and what you can expect when you find it.

To find the secret cave, head south of the Grand Glacier POI. It may take some time to see it, but the underground cave sits on the eastern shoreline, as marked on the map above. Once you locate the secret cave, it should be easy to revisit.

There are 11 potential Chest spawns in the Fortnite Chapter 5 secret cave. However, the Chest spawn rate may reduce that number significantly. In any case, you will find two Chests upon entering the first part of the cave.

Then, as you move deeper into the cave, a third Chest blocks your path. After opening that Chest, you can bring it with a weapon or your pickaxe to continue through. You will find more Chests in the next section, but the loot does not end there.

Use your pickaxe to break through the wall, and you may proceed to the deepest part of the cave. You will find a few more Chests and even a coral buddies Easter egg, mysterious creatures that first appeared in Chapter 1 Season 7.
