Fortnite's Chapter 1 was a historic few years for the Battle Royale. Throughout the 10 seasons, we saw some of the most unique locations (POIs) added into the game. In fact, many of these locations are begged by players for their return.
Since then, The game has re-released many famous locations, but only a few have made their way back into more recent seasons.
Here are the top seven best Fortnite locations from Chapter 1.
The Best Locations From Fortnite Chapter 1
Fortnite still releases new locations every season, with players ecstatic when exploring them for the first time. The game never ceases to surprise everyone. Still, though, this does not change the fact that the game's older POIs are probably the most famous.
Here are the best locations from Fortnite: Chapter 1.
7. Lazy Lagoon
Lazy Lagoon, a pirate's haven, was the famous location introduced in Chapter 1: Season 8. The small area featured a minuscule port town with a massive pirate ship set up against the dock. While the POI may have been small, people absolutely loved landing in or around it. The spot was also close to the volcano, which was a major part of the game's storyline.
6. The Block
You cannot have a list of the best locations from Chapter 1 without mentioning The Block. The Block was historic in Fortnite. The POI switched out between different players' creations each week. With the current popularity of Creative 2.0, it is needless to say that The Block was ahead of its time. Any creation you could think of, The Block probably had it.
5. Dusty Depot
While Dusty Depot may have been smaller than the majority of other locations, it still held a major significance to the game's storyline. To start season three, the POI was destroyed by the infamous meteor that struck the island. In the seasons to come, the spot saw various changes, making it one of the best locations in Fortnite history.

4. Fatal Fields
Like Dusty Depot, Fatal Fields is a Fortnite location that has been around since the start of the game. This location stayed within the game throughout the entirety of Chapter 1, making it a favorite for people to land at. Its stables, barn and house were great for cover, but the spot also had a few large fields of corn for people to hide in. Fatal Fields will never be forgotten by the Fortnite community and still stands as one of the best Fortnite locations of all time.
3. Salty Springs
Originally added in the first season of Chapter 1 as an unnamed location, Salty Springs quickly became loved by the Fortnite community. In fact, it became so loved that Epic Games decided to add a name to the POI. It was like a small neighborhood, with multiple houses for players to explore. It sat around some cliffs, which added that extra height for players to grab. Salty Springs has made a few returns throughout the years too, ensuring it becomes a favorite amongst gamers.
2. Retail Row
Retail Row was not only a major part of the entirety of Chapter 1, but it also held its ground through all of Chapter 2. It was a simple but great location for players to land at. The POI was made up of stores (hence the name Retail Row), houses and more. It was big and was a great landing spot for those looking to fight off spawn. Many players still attribute Retail Row as their main landing spot in all of Chapter 1.
1. Tilted Towers
No location in Fortnite will ever live up to the likes of Tilted Towers. First added in Chapter 1, Season 2, this insanely big POI took the Fortnite community by storm. Everyone wanted to land at this location. In fact, Tilted Towers would literally bring in an entire lobby off-spawn almost every game. Live through your battles at Tilted Towers, and by the second or third zone, there would only be 10-20 players left.
Since then Tilted Towers has returned to the game in multiple forms, making it the best Fortnite location of Chapter 1 and arguably the greatest Fortnite location of all time.
