Fortnite: How to uninstall the Battle Royale

Uninstalling Fortnite is a bit different on each platform. None of them prove to be difficult, but each platform still has its own steps you have to follow if you would like to uninstall the popular Battle Royale.

How to uninstall Fortnite on PC:

  • Open your Epic Games launcher
  • Click on the THREE DOTS below Fortnite
  • Click uninstall

Yep, it is literally that easy. The game will completely uninstall from your PC, deleting all of the files associated with it. Luckily, all of your data is still stored within Epic's system, so you can jump in where you left off if you ever decide to re-download the game.

How to uninstall Fortnite on Xbox and PlayStation:

  • Turn on your console
  • Click the START button on your control when selecting Fortnite
  • Click uninstall

After that, Fortnite will officially be deleted from your console. Just like with PC, deleting the game does not delete your data within the game. Whenever you choose to download Fortnite again, you will have all your skins, progress and more.
