What’s better than jamming in a Fortnite match?
Fortnite is not all about eliminating enemies and earning Victory Royales. Something that sets the game apart is in-game Emotes. These have become iconic in Fortnite history, but the recent addition of the ability to jam in the game has bumped this aspect to another level.
There are many reasons to use this function in the game. This guide explains its use and its purposes, including complete Quests.
How to jam in Fortnite
Jamming in Fortnite is just pure fun. You can use it to vibe with your teammates or to flex on an opponent after eliminating them. Here's how you can jam in Fortnite.
Depending on your input, open your Emote Wheel using the proper button or key. By default, the 'B' button on a keyboard will open the Wheel, or you can press down on the D-pad on a controller.
After doing this, you will see several tabs above the Wheel across the top of the screen. The tabs you will want to use are 'Jam Loops' and 'Locker Jam Loops.' You can also rotate through the instruments available: Drums, Lead Guitar, Bass, and Vocals.
The last step is to pick one of the various options. These can range from original Epic Games creations to Fortnite Festival Jam Tracks.
