Here’s how to not starve in survival mode!
If you're playing LEGO Fortnite in survival mode with hunger toggled on, then your character would start to get hungry after some exploring and adventures. If you don't eat, then your health slowly gets depleted. Eventually, your character passes away. Therefore, read on for our guide on how to heal and eat food in LEGO Fortnite!
How hunger works in LEGO Fortnite
When you enter a LEGO Fortnite world that's in survival mode, check the top-left corner of your screen. This is where your hearts are located. Right next to these hearts is a circle that starts off as green before it slowly turns to yellow when you get hungry. Then, if you are starving, then the circle turns red.
How to heal in LEGO Fortnite
In order to not die of hunger and heal yourself in LEGO Fortnite, you must eat some food. Food can be found just by exploring the world. Items such as pumpkins and berries, for example, can help with your hunger and heal you. You can also craft a Grill to cook some food.
The screenshots above and below show you how to collect food in the wild. When you see a bush or a pumpkin patch, for example, go near it and hold the "E" button on your keyboard. The food items then get added to your inventory or your quickbar slots.
