Complete these Quests and you can get the Cybertruck in Fortnite for free!
The infamous Tesla Cybertruck has driven its way into Fortnite via patch v30.30. Unlike most collaborations, you have a small window of opportunity to unlock Fortnite’s newest in-game vehicle for free. You can accomplish this by completing Summer Road Trip Quests. This article explains how to do this and claim your Cybertruck Bundle reward.
How to get the Tesla Cybertruck in Fortnite for free
Patch v30.30 marks the first day of the Summer Road Trip event. It continues through August 6, but the Road Trip Quests are where you must turn your attention. Beginning today, July 23, the initial Road Trip Quest is available. A new Quest will unlock each today until July 31, totaling nine Quests overall.
To unlock the Tesla Cybertruck in Fortnite for free, you must complete all nine Quests by August 6. Once finished, you will receive the Cybertruck Bundle alongside some other cosmetic rewards.
Although the complete Questline is unknown at this point, Epic’s post indicates you must simply earn XP playing creator-made game modes and other Epic-created game modes.
- Earning a certain amount of XP (solo or with your party) in creator-made islands.
- Earning a certain amount of XP with your party in Fortnite Battle Royale (includes normal BR, Zero Build, Team Rumble, and Reload), LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, or Fortnite Festival.
After completing all nine Summer Road Trip Quests, you will unlock the complete Cybertruck Fortnite Bundle:
- Tesla Cybertruck Car Body
- CyberCamo Cybertruck Decal
- Matte Black Cybertruck Decal
- Stainless Steel Cybertruck Decal
- OMG Cybertruck Decal
- Cyber Wheels

In addition to unlocking the Cybertruck in Fortnite, you will also acquire the cosmetics in Rocket League. That means the items are eligible for cross-game ownership, so it’s a two birds, one stone situation if you enjoy Fortnite and Rocket League.
If you’re more of a Rocket League fan, the game is hosting its own Summer Road Trip Quests, offering the same Cybertruck Bundle. These require you only to play 21 online matches to acquire all cosmetics. You can also earn the exclusive Baja Off-Road Decal in both games by completing either the Fortnite or Rocket League Questlines.
If the challenge grind does not interest you, the Cybertruck will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop on August 6.
