Fortnite’s newest skin, Sunspot, is officially here.

Fortnite is well-known for always adding new and unique skins and cosmetics to the game. In fact, with so many new skins dropping every month, you'd think the game would have run out of ideas by now. Luckily, though, the creative team over at Epic Games still seems to have a plethora of ideas, including the brand-new Sunspot skin.

Here is everything you need to know about the Sunspot skin in Fortnite, including what it is and where to get it.

Sunspot: How to get the rare skin in Fortnite

The new Sunspot skin packs quite the amount of heat. With the skin literally shining bright for everyone to see, it is the perfect outfit to drop in hot off the Battle Bus in.

So how do you get Sunspot in Fortnite? Well, the answer is simple; the Item Shop.

Yep, Sunspot and its extra cosmetics are available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop, which is the only way someone can acquire the skin.

Amount of V-Bucks required to purchase Sunspot and its extra cosmetics:

  • Sunspot (Skin) - 1,200 V-Bucks
  • Nova Snackpack (Backbling) - 1,200 V-Bucks
  • Stellar Striker (Pickaxe) - 800 V-Bucks

The skin and its cosmetics also have an additional style, which turns Sunspot into a frozen alternative. You can even use the outfit in LEGO Fortnite, making it exceptionally versatile.

What is Sunspot?

Sunspot is the newest addition to Forntite's long list of original skins. In fact, while the game has quite a few skins that are from collaborations, their original skins count is upwards of 1,000 or more.

The skin features what looks like a young and hip male, sporting a cool red winter jacket. His pants seem to be similar to black joggers or skinny jeans, and his orange boots are similar to high-top Converse shoes. He has a strap of grenades around his upper body too, showing that he is ready for battle.

What makes him the Sunspot though, is his body is made entirely from fire. His face is literally a shining sun, with rays of sunlight protruding from his head. The fingertips on Sunspot, which can be seen coming out of his fingerless gloves, are made of fire too.

This is an obvious statement that Sunspot is made entirely of fire, just like the sun, making him an incredibly unique skin.
