Here is how you can get the Godzilla Medallion in Fortnite!

Fortnite's brand-new Titan Takedown Godzilla experience is now live in Chapter 6 Season 1. While playing a match, there is a 20% chance that a portal will spawn on the map. The first player through that portal will respawn as the giant reptile and wreak havoc on the lobby.

However, Epic Games has also added a Godzilla Medallion to the Fortnite loot pool. Here's how you can get and use this item.

How to get the Godzilla Medallion in Fortnite

Damage is your best ally if you want to acquire the Godzilla Medallion. If you enter a lobby where you do not become Godzilla, someone else will, and that's where you start your journey. Once Godzilla emerges, you must inflict more damage on the Kaiju than anyone else in the lobby until they fall.

The clip above from SypherPK showcases the process of earning the Medallion. Those with the most damage dealt to the Godzilla player will receive the Medallion and the newly added Exotic Quad Launcher for the remainder of their Fortnite match.

What does the Medallion do?

Those lucky enough to either earn the Godzilla Fortnite Medallion through their damage output or loot it from another player will enjoy what it offers. This Medallion functions like the Aspect of Agility Medallion from Chapter 5 Season 2. It grants holders three dashes that recharge over time.

That means mobility will no longer be an issue when traveling across the map and pressuring opponents. It's the ultimate tool for evading enemy attacks and going on the offensive to earn eliminations. Unfortunately, your chances of getting the Godzilla Medallion in Fortnite depend on your luck since the portal only has a 20% spawn rate.

Epic Games may increase Godzilla's spawn rate over time, but for now, the Medallion is rare to acquire.
