In LEGO Fortnite, there’s dozens of materials that need crafting, gathering, and otherwise obtaining, and one of the more difficult to get is Cord. Cord is used for a multitude of mid-game crafting recipes, but isn’t immediately obvious how to get it. Here’s how to get Cord in LEGO Fortnite.
How to obtain Cord in LEGO Fortnite
You can get Cord in one of two ways: By crafting it, or by finding it in treasure chests. The latter way is actually the harder way of getting it. Cord is a rare drop in these chests, so while you should always check chests, you’re probably better off crafting Cord.
To craft Cord, you’ll first need a Spinning Wheel. The Spinning Wheel is crafted using the following:
- 12 x Plank
- 5 x Wooden Rod
- 5 x Wood
- 5 x Wolf Claw
Wolf Claws are obtained by killing Wolves, while everything else is wood-based from the Lumber Mill.
Once the Spinning Wheel is constructed you can craft Cord using five Vines. Vines are a common material found from destroying bushes and plants.
