Trying to find a Weapon Case in Fortnite?

Weapon Cases are one of the new types of Chests found in Fortnite. Weapon Cases were first released during Chapter 5, Season 1, and have become an extremely viable way of finding decent loot. Let's also not forget, that many challenges needed to gain XP in Fortnite require opening Weapon Cases.

But Weapon Cases aren't necessarily the easiest to find within the game, making these challenges a bit more difficult to complete.

What are Weapon Cases in Fortnite?

A Weapon Case contains rare loot that players can equip. With weapon mods playing a huge role in the game this season, most Weapon Cases will have guns that have a decent amount of weapon mods already on them.

Think of a Weapon Case as a Chest that will always give you something rare, sort of like the Rare Chests.

Usually, when a player locates a Weapon Case, it should set them up with an advantage for the rest of the match. These new Chests are not meant to be taken lightly, as they hold a decent amount of firepower in them.

The only real problem with Weapon Cases is their lack of abundance on the island, making them somewhat difficult to find.
