You’ll need to do some exploring to find caves in LEGO Fortnite, but after you locate one, it’ll be marked on your map.
Caves are just as treacherous as they are important in a multitude of video games. That's definitely true for LEGO Fortnite, where finding caves opens the door to a slew of new resources and adventures. You'll need to be prepared for the journey, but finding the rock formation with an opening is the first step.
Where to find caves in LEGO Fortnite?
Caves aren't necessarily common in LEGO Fortnite, but they certainly are not exceptionally difficult to find. You just have to know where to look. Whether you want to find one on your map or by traversing your world, caves are easy to spot once you know what to look for.
As you move across the LEGO Fortnite world, more of the overall map will begin to appear. If a cave is in the vicinity, you'll see it marked with a mountain-looking icon. It has two spikey portions coming out of the top and a small entryway, which is similar to how they'll appear when you approach them.
You won't typically find them in grassy areas. Venture out to more mountainous biomes like those covered in snow or even the desert. Once you spot a cave, you'll know you're in the right spot if it prompts you to enter it.
