Fortnite: How to travel distance while under the effects of tomatoes

Epic Games was initially set to launch the second Fortnite Simpsons update on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Unfortunately, that update will now arrive on Wednesday. That didn't stop Epic Games from releasing the weekly Fortnite Quests prematurely, including one that revolved around traveling a distance while under the effects of tomatoes.

Although you cannot complete the Quest yet, we have enough information that will make your life much easier once the update drops tomorrow.

We navigate over to Cletus' Corn Hole point of interest (POI), where finding tomatoes was straightforward. You can find bins of tomatoes in the furrows outside, as shown in the screenshot below.

You can interact with the bin to obtain tomatoes, which will enter your inventory in stacks of up to 10. Based on the trailer for this week's update, the tomatoes will become purple, and you may have the chance to throw them at other opponents.

This will result in a zero-gravity effect, allowing you to float longer in the air. The challenge at hand will require you to travel 300 meters after splashing one of the tomatoes on yourself.

When the Quest goes live in the Nov. 19 Fortnite update, you should head to Cletus' Corn Hole, splash yourself with a tomato, and travel a distance across the map until the challenge is complete. You can even pair that with Moe's Five Gun to achieve some flashy clips on your enemies.

This week's theme is all about clones of Homer Simpsons roaming the Island. There will be another Quest based on this storyline thread, which may require you to eliminate said clones. Pair that with the effects of the purple tomatoes, and you have plenty of content to carry you through next week.
