Here’s how to complete “the baron who is reportedly hoarding gold in his office” Fortnite Quest!

The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 weekly challenges are underway. However, one Quest has led to players flocking to one location, making it incredibly difficult to complete. Here is a Fortnite guide explaining how to do "the baron who is reportedly hoarding gold in his office" Quest.

Step 1: Head to Outlaw Oasis and speak with Valentina

Your first step in this Quest is to visit Outlaw Oasis and speak with Valentina. Unfortunately, this is arguably the most challenging component. In our experience, the entire lobby is actively dropping here with the same goal.

We triggered the Quest once out of a handful of Solo Battle Royale matches. The bad part is that you must finish all the steps in one match. After failing multiple times, we eventually queued into Solo Squad Zero Build to run through all three steps.

You can proceed to the next step after speaking with Valentina and avoiding opponents.

Step 2: Eliminate Fletcher Kane's bodyguards (0/6)

The next step in the Fortnite "baron reportedly hoarding gold" Quest requires you to defeat six of Fletcher Kane's bodyguards. Thankfully, this portion should not give you much trouble. These non-player characters (NPC) are quickly taken down with most weapons.

Your best path to success is to use angles and watch your back at all times for any other players attempting to eliminate you. After defeating six bodyguards, you can proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Return to Valentina

You have finally arrived at the most straightforward portion of the baron reportedly hoarding gold Quest. The last step is to return to Valentina, who you can find near a small safe. She will linger around this area until you walk up to her.

Once you have done that, the safe will open, and the Quest will be complete. Although it's an unquestionably tricky challenge, it is possible. However, if you are not in any rush, you can wait until later in the season.
