Fortnite has officially revealed the details we have all been waiting for regarding the 2025 FNCS season, including tournament dates, a prize pool, and more. Here is everything the game has announced.
Fortnite reveals 2025 FNCS dates
The popular Battle Royale released the dates for its competitive 2025 season, including three Majors and an upcoming Community tournament where anyone can participate.
However, they have yet to reveal a location for Fortnite Globals, which will take place sometime next Fall.
FNCS 2025 Major 1 dates:
- Play Ins, Day 1: January 29
- Play Ins, Day 2: January 30
- Group 1: February 2
- Group 2: February 8
- Group 3: February 9
- Last Chance Qualifier: February 12
- Last Chance Lobby: February 13
- Major 1 Finals, Day 1: February 15
- Major 1 Finals, Day 2: February 16
FNCS Major 2 dates:
- Play Ins, Day 1: April 9
- Play Ins, Day 2: April 10
- Group 1: April 13
- Group 2: April 19
- Group 3: April 20
- Last Chance Qualifier: April 23
- Last Chance Lobby: April 24
- Major 2 Finals, Day 1: April 26

The FNCS Community Cup is being held solely to celebrate the upcoming 2025 competitive season and will feature various Fortnite cosmetic rewards.
Prize Pool
The official prize pool for the 2025 FNCS is $8 million, split between all three Majors and FNCS Globals. However, it looks like North America will be split into two once again.
North America split into two regions
Like in the past, North America will now be split into two competitive regions, instead of keeping everyone on Central. The two regions will be NA-West and NA-Central.
Fortnite revealed in its competitive blog post that this change was to help players living in different time zones.
