Everything you need to know about Holo Chests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

Fortnite’s Holo Chests have been in the game for some time. These unique items appeared first in Chapter 3 Season 4, where you could open them using a key and receive an Epic or Legendary weapon. Since their debut, Holo Chests have been a recurring concept in ensuing seasons.
Today, we’ll explain where you can find Fortnite’s Holo Chests in Chapter 4 Season 2, and what you get when you open them.

Holo Chest locations and how to open them

It’s common to stumble across Holo Chests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. They spawn by most gas stations and other spots throughout the vast landscape. There are quite a few, so thankfully Fortnite.GG has a comprehensive map showing where you can find Holo Chests.
It’s worth noting that these Chests are guaranteed and typically spawn alongside each other. Before finding them, you must grab some keys to open the Holo Chests. Keys can be found in regular Chests, on the ground, or sometimes on an eliminated enemy.

What kind of items can you find inside?

You’ll mostly find Epic weapons, Legendary weapons, and Exotic healing items in Holo Chests. These can help you earn a Victory Royale with relative ease. Additionally, some of the items available are more powerful compared to others available in regular Chests.
Here are some weapons you might find in Holo Chests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2:
  • Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle
  • Tactical Pistol
  • Cobra DMR
  • Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle
  • Havoc Pump Shotgun
  • Shield Fish
  • Combat Shotgun
  • Heavy Sniper Rifle
  • Maven Auto Shotgun
The Holo Chests containing healing items require two Keys to open, so you should keep that in mind. Overall, Fortnite’s Holo Chests can be very helpful if you can find Keys. Also, if you find and open enough, you’ll complete a Quest and receive an XP reward.
