Fortnite has introduced Moe’s “Five Gun” into the current Simpsons season. Here is where you can find it an how it works!

The latest Fortnite update expanded further upon the game's Simpsons crossover. Among the new additions is a particular weapon that appeared in the show called the Five Gun. Fashioned initially by Moe Szyslak, this is unquestionably one of the most specific references we've seen in the game so far.

Here is everything you need to know about the Five Gun, including how to get it and what to expect when you do.

How can I get the Five Gun in Fortnite?

Finding the Five Gun took much longer than we initially expected before queuing into a match. Although the drop rate is unclear, we were able to find one via a normal Chest and grabbed another from an opponent. Our best advice is to land anywhere that has an abundance of Chests and loot away.

As far as we have seen, the Five Gun only drops in Fortnite's Epic and Legendary rarities, with the picture above showcasing the Legendary version.

How does this weapon work? Is it worth carrying?

The closest comparison we have for the Five Gun is the Pump & Dump from earlier in Chapter 6. As you can see in the video above, the Five Gun first fires a Shotgun blast before following it up with rapid-fire shots. You can hold the fire button or key down to maximize the weapon's fire rate.

As for whether it's worth carrying, there are some situations where the Five Gun is worth keeping in your Fortnite inventory. While not great at range, the Five Gun can be devastating to opponents in close quarters. You may not find much use from it late in matches, but it wouldn't be the worst weapon to carry.

What does the Five Gun reference in The Simpsons?

For those wondering about the reference, the Five Gun appeared in Season 9 Episode 5 of The Simpsons, titled "The Cartridge Family." During a National Rifle Association (NRA) meeting, Moe turns one regular gun into five guns, followed by a round of applause.

Now, you can wield this hilarious Simpsons-inspired weapon until the end of the season!
