The Esports World Cup has consisted have various games, including Valorant, Modern Warfare 3 and more. Fortnite, with it's immense $1,050,000 prize pool, is just one of the many games competing.

Still, though, many gamers worked incredibly hard to make it to the event. From invites to multiple qualifiers, fans are expected to see some high-stakes Fortnite action.

Unlike traditional Fortnite tournaments, the entirety of the Fortnite Esports World Cup will be held in Creative instead of the regular Battle Royale. With various Gun Game maps that players will compete across, only one team of four will walk home with first place.

Both August 8 and 9 will have Group Stage battles, where all teams have been divided into separate groups.
